There have been some significant changes at North West Community College, particularly over the past 4 years. The college head office has made a big move from a Castle Hill location to the new Rouse Hill Town Centre and the long-serving Principal Eela Morar had retired, to be replaced by College Manager Sonia Dal Bon. But the college’s mission, built up painstakingly by Ms Morar and the dedicated Board of the college, hasn’t changed. It still provides a wide range of excellent and relevant courses at a level of accessibility everyone can afford. It remains one of the pre-eminent Adult and Community Education colleges in New South Wales. Whether you want to expand your range of business skills, learn a language, learn practical skills or find a new interest or hobby, there’s a course here for you. The college runs Business Diploma & Certificate Qualifications as well general business courses such as Accounting, Excel, MYOB, Powerpoint and Bookkeeping etc... A number of practical courses including Dressmaking/Sewing skills, Welding, Dog grooming and international Cooking. A wide range of visual Arts courses; as well as Yoga, Dance & Music and not forgetting those highly regarded Literacy and Numeracy classes. I am a strong believer in lifelong learning – North West Community College provides the perfect way for you to run your business better or get more out of life. I would encourage anyone who wants to extend his or her knowledge base to enrol in one or more of the courses available. You won’t regret it! Ray Williams MP The NWCC Staff and Management Committee Members would like to welcome Mr Ray Williams MP as the new college patron.
We would like to formally thank Mr Michael Richardson for his many years of service as Patron to our College. We wish him all the best in his retirement from the Castle Hill electorate. |
